Anatomy and Dance: APUNTES NEUROMUSCULARES.

The web page that I follow it's call: Apuntes Neuromusculares📝🧠💪🦴. I founded it in 2018, year in wich my adventure in the world of the contemporary dance began.

Throught this page, I met Alfonso Castillo, a kinesiologist and dancer of the University of Chile, teacher, mentor and my friend. He, with his best friend, Sebastian Obando created this page in 2016.

At the beginning,  they only talked about to anatomy applied to dancers, and then; they decided to do contemporary classes for people without experience with dance (like me at this moment🤪😳). One year after creating the page, Alfonso proposed the project to his group of friends from the university, and that was how two types of classes were generated:

I had the opportunity to participate in the classes of each one of them, I learned a lot! 🤩. In special about muscular anatomy,  wich helped me to recognize wich areas of my body move, and how it's organized to get on and get off the floor💪. 

During the Pandemia, they made workshops on line, bringing together teachers from different countries, since the platform had followers in almost the entire Latin American continent.

Actually, the Plaform continue doing classes of contemporary dance for people without experience. Dario and Lukas no longer work on the platform, because they migrated to work in a Italian dance company. Alfonso, sometimes come to do single classes or masterclass (because he lives in Puerto Montt), Sebastian Obando do classes for a old group of students in a contemporary class in a intermediate to advanced level; and joined at the page Sofía Martínez, Sebastian Hidalgo and me to do classes for people without experience in contemporary dance (although I am Sebastian Hidalgos assistant).

My Important Photo/Moment 💝

 

I was 14 years old when I transformed in aunt for the first time. I imagined her with a black hair and light eyes. On march 14 of 2009,Isidora came into this world. We went friends, sidekicks,nail and grime until 2013. This year, according to my niece "we would stop being two lines, to transform us into a triangle" 🔽 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️

On august 8, arrived in this universe: Emilia, who from a very young age proved to be different. Isidora has black hair and Emilia has light eyes 😅.

The three of us faced distance,not seeing each other so often and saying goodbye painfully when they stopped living in the same house as me 🏠.

Everything changed when Antonia joined us on december 21 of 2017. We returned to live together and from that moment we became a square 😆⏹️👭👭.

They are so different and the same time, so alike.I say this because since time inmemorial, I have been capturing photos and recording videos of their achievements, birthdays and relevant milestones 📷.

In the year 2018, my niece Isidora decided that we should make the replica of our old photos, to make the change and continuity. 

Today, Isidora is 14, Emilia is 9 and Antonia is 5 years old. And in her faces, I feel the love I have for them, and satisfied to know that I am a positive role model for them. It's a shared love, a square of affection, admiration and mutual learning ❤️💚💛💜.  

My favorite piece of technology or apps

My favorite apps are VOCAL REMOVER, REMOVE BG and WONDERSHARE FILMORA. With these, I feel that edit videos are so easy and fun 💻😁. 

VOCAL REMOVER it allow you separe the voice from the musical instruments, wich lets you download the sound track you need. 

REMOVE BG, it allow you remove the backgroud from the image.

And finally, WONDERSHARE FILMORA, is a video editor that allow you create, combine, imput text, cut, insert songs or voice recording. All the thing you imagine to conclude your new video 🐖💨🌈💪.

I found all these apps when I was doing online classes, especially in the edition of tales, songs and educational capsules, here I share a video edited by me: Educational Capsule: Journey to Infinity and Beyond

In the years 2020 and 2021, these apps were use daily, but actually I use them sometimes when I have to do some creative work for the university, or when I do homework with my nieces. I think,these apps are a solution for people who are interesed in the video editing or work in musical or audivisual media 🎶🎥💻. 

The first and the second app are free 🔏, and the third have a 7 days free pass. After the free pass, yo can purchase a one month, three month or one year license ✅.

Why did you choose your major?

When I was a child, I remember dreaming f being a vet doctor, but I foud out I would cry a lot and quit my job if an animal died. After that, I had a teacher who told me I was very in tune when I singing, so I tought about becoming a singer. But a friend told me that I really didn't sing that well, so I stopped thinking about that.

Always I love dance, but for my family it was just a hobbie, and they convinced me of that. I took advantage of what I had been a Colonias Urbanas monitor, and since I love the educating experience, I decided to study Pedagogy in Early Childhood Education.

 

It was the Pandemic, my psychologist and my friend Alfonso (who was my contemporary dance theacher) that motivated me to follow my dream to becoming a dancer, regardless of my age, my weight and my height. As I told you, I managed to enter in the dance major after the PAES and the audition, and up to know, I can't stop remembering my first  university experience; I think bacause for the differences in the organization, the way the test are done and how little text I have to read (jejejeje😅). 

 

I decided to face this second career with more optimism, greater determination and more confidence (I supose😅) in myself.

Who I am?

                           

       Hi!, my name is Camila, I am 27 years old and I am nursery teacher. I studied in the Pontifial Catholic University of Chile, since 2014 until 2017. I graduated in 2018, specifically in September 27, and since that year my adventure in the world of early childhood education began.

     

I worked in the Entrepeques Kinder Garden, in the Minor Middle Room, with my partner and friend Alejandra. We had a great time, we did many interesting projects like: the dinosaurs, proffesions and trades, myths and legends, the emotions and recognition of themselves. The 2021 was my last year in the kindergarden, because I decided a new story for me: work in a proffesional technical school. There I tought to youngers of 16 at 18 years old, about alimentation, health and hygiene of the children. 

Also working in the school, I started to study in the Pulso Academy of Dance. Thank that, I started doing the dance workshop in the school. With the youngers did some choreographies for many celebration like: the day of proffesional technical education, national holidays, and farewell to middle quarters. It was a great time! 💓

 But my life is not only be a "nursery teacher" or "The teacher Cami", also I a dance human being. Since 2018 dance contemporary dance, like a species of hobbie, or so I thought. In the 2021, thank my psichologist, I decided was a great moment for study again. For it, the last year I got myself ready for test in the Pulso Academy of Dance. It was the most beauty, stressful, frustrating, wonderful, crazy, interesting and brilliant adventure (after the birth of my nieces, of course 😅). The finally show, show me that the dance it not only a hobbie, it was my second passion. That´s how I signed up for two auditions: in the University Academy of Christian Humanism and the University of Chile. Respectively I went the number 21 and 78 in the auditions. In the UHAC was a only test and I stayed there. But I wanted "The Chile". After 3 test (group audition, "solo" choreographic and writing test)furthermore the PAES, with 855 points I managed to be in the position number 13 out of 25 😍.

 

 

And now, I´m here. Actually do classes on the platform Neuromuscular Notes like an assistant of the dancing teachers. Is a greatful experience 💗. And I have a colective called "Primitive Territories" (@territoriosprimitivos --> follow us plis 😆), where do workshops that cross education, geography and dance. 

It has been a very long text (so sorry 😅), but I like tell about that, because I feel so brave 💪. Another day tell us what I like to read, listen, watch and cook. See You! 🙋
